We’re hosting a big (free) Mindfulness experiment in December. If you’re interested in learning more about mindfulness, or practicing mindfulness, we’d love to have you participate with us. You can read more about the experiment here.
If you’re new to the Monthly Experiments Project, you can read about what we’re doing here.
Several other bloggers have committed to joining the experiment, and we’ll be linking to their posts on this site. We’re hoping to have a large group of us doing this experiment and sharing their experiences to benefit others.
Here are some details on how you can participate, and get a link to your own blog posts about your mindfulness experiment.
1. Do The Experiment
Commit to practicing mindfulness every day in December. You can practice in whatever way you like. Some of us will be doing a daily meditation, others will be keeping a gratitude journal, and others have decided to stop complaining.
2. Write About It
Write about your mindfulness experience on your blog or website. You don’t have to publish something every day. You can post as often as you like throughout the month. We’re planning to publish 3 or 4 updates about our own experience.
If you have a good experience, write about it. Frustrating experience? Write about it. Find a tool or technique that helps you be more mindful? Write about it. If you learn something or your life is impacted in some way, write about it. Write about it on your own blog or website. Then…
3. Tell Us About Your Posts
After you publish something about the experiment, fill out the form below so we can find your post. We’ll read it and then link to it from the experiment hub page.
We’d love for you to put a link in your post to this page, but it’s not a requirement. 🙂
